The title of this post has nothing to do with anything,
except that it is HOT and HUMID!!
Anyway, on with the post.
before the work starts back up.
Jon doing the "Baseball Dance".
Have you heard of it?
(He can teach you if you're interested.)

Let's HOE
"I always have time for a smile, even when I'm melting!"
Easy, Jon.
(They're the closest to the ground:))
Looks like Gabriel's got the easy job, today.
"How bout trading that camera in on a hoe."
Gabriel doesn't always get the easy job ;)Our rainy season doesn't start for a few months,
as you can see,but our precious Lord always sends just the right amount
of rain right when we need it, for a bountiful harvest.Feet that belong to a hard working body.

OATS
(This is what cows and horses get for dessert.)

Oh wow...looks like it is very hot there! (It didn't even hit 50 degrees here today).
You guys look like you are keeping busy down there...good job on all that hoeing!
Great post! Everything looks great! Your children are growing so much - especially Thomas and Jon.
Oat hay - how interesting! It looks like it did well.
It is so wonderful the great variety of crops that grow so well here in Florida.
I admire you all for the fields of food and grain you grow - it is great to see!
Our loquats are just falling off the tree! We need to make jam again.
Praying the Lord's best for you and your family!
I'd love to hear from you Tina, leave me a comment on our blog every once in a while, ok?
Molly
Oh Wow! That garden we helped plant looks like its comin' along nicely! Y'all sure are hard workers!
I've been looking forward to seeing pictures of the garden! It looks grand.
Hope y'all are surviving the HOT and HUMID weather!
Can't wait to see you in July!
Love,
Agee
Your corn (that is corn, right?) looks so great! Praise the Lord. He does send just the right amount of rain.
You all have been so faithful in what God has given you. We are proud of your industrious spirit.
That caption about trading in the camera for a hoe was hilarious!
"Hot and Humid" hmmm... nope...don't miss THAT a bit :)
Love,
Beth
Haha, I love your pink tractor! Don't you know that REAL farmalls are "red"? ;p
Love all that wide open space. That's great!
All these great pics and no snap shots of the HUGE cake Liv made?? I really want to see!
Beth,
I'm sure you're NOT missing the humid weather!! Hope we can say those words some day, SOON!!!
Juli,
The sun's a little brighter down in these parts!! BTW: You have to have connections to get the pink Farmalls. They only sell those to special farmers :). We can make some phone calls if you want one.
Anita,
The cake will be the next post, just for you, o.k.?
so what are loquats?????
humid and hot? I could just imagine the sweat in the pic of Liv playing baseball. Sat May 8th we had a few flurries in the air!!!! Ugh....I am ready for SOME heat.
And - could you just see us with a pink farmall???? We'd be the talk of the county! I think we better come do a test drive before we committ!
AAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! It's Mothers Day and I just looked out the window and it is SNOWING!!!!!!!
Happy Mother's Day! I am going to get a HOT cup of coffee. Oh, and Ju said "thanks for the hot chocolate Air",-she really needs it today!
The Frozen R's.....
Snow!?!?! You have got to be joking!! If we take our HOT and your SNOW, and mix them together, we could have some really fine weather. We didn't have snow, (FOR SURE), but we had high 90's and sticky humid. Don't know which is worse. (Oh, yes I do!!).
About the "Pink" farmall. They only laugh when Gabriel drives it!! As long as you keep the girls on it, you'll be fine :)
