Thankful for..........

It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord,
and to sing praises unto thy name,
O most high:

To shew forth thy loving kindness in the morning,

and faithfulness every night.

Psalm 92: 1-2

As we celebrate Thanksgiving this week, and our focus being on thankfulness,
I asked each member of the family (separately),
What Are You Thankful For??

These are their exact answers.........
The cross and what Jesus did for us in dying and being risen again.
For my wife and completer & her self-sacrificing love for her children.
For my precious children.
For life.
(Dad)

O come, let us sing unto the Lord:
Let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.
Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving,
and make a joyful noise unto Him with Psalms.
For the Lord is a great God, and a great king above all gods.
(Psalm 95:1-3)
The incredible love of my Savior for someone as undeserving as me!!
For a wonderful husband and father that is steadfast,
holding to the Word of God, no matter what.
For children that have a love for the Lord and want to please Him,
and that love me unconditionally, even though I mess up (again and again).
I am truly, truly grateful.
(Momma)
For the Lord's unfailing love to me! Even when I fail Him.
His mercies that are new every day!
For His grace that is all sufficient.
For the Lord being my strength and my shield and an ever present
help in times of trouble.

For being the rock of my salvation, my high tower and my shelter in
the time of a storm.
He loved me enough to die and save me.
I am thankful for how God brought me through this year,
when the trials in life press me sore.

(Gabriel) I'm thankful that the Lord doesn't give up on us
no matter how many times we fail or mess up.
That He never leaves us nor forsakes us.
For the little things in life that we take for granted......like
sunsets, lightning storms, fluffy clouds, sprinkles, wildflowers, ice cream,
dirty little boys and talking at the dinner table with the family.
God is so good.
Thank You Lord.
(Olivia)

I am thankful that our Heavenly Father is on the throne,
and is in control of our lives.

For the blessing of a dear, sweet, loving family.

I'm grateful for all the many blessings the Lord has graciously bestowed
upon our lives, both big and small.

(Ariana)

I thank the Lord for my Wonderful family.

And all the many, many, blessings He has given me.

I'm thankful for God's abounding Grace and Mercy.

For my parents teaching me to always trust in the Lord,

with all my heart, soul, and mind, and to never waver from the Word of God.

For he is the rock of my salvation.

Thank you Lord for sending your only begotten son, to come and

die on that old rugged cross, for mine and the whole worlds sins.

Thank you for saving my soul, and giving me a new life in you,
and for loving me even when I fail you.

I know I deserve nothing! But through Christ I have Everything!

And for that I am truly grateful!!

(Christiana)

Enter unto his gates with thanksgiving,
and into His courts with praise:
be thankful unto Him, and bless His name.
For the Lord is good;
His mercy is everlasting;
and His truth endureth to all generations.
(Psalm 100:4, 4-5)

I'm grateful for being alive.

Having food, shoes, warm clothes when it's cold.

For my family and granny.

For my salvation.

(Thomas)

Be careful for nothing;

but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving

let your requests be made known unto God.

(Phillipians 4:6)I thankful that when I got ran over by a 4-wheeler, I didn't have to go to the hospital.

I'm thankful for my family and their love.

For daddy and momma teaching me about Jesus and loving me.

All the things the Lord provides.

Mostly for the Lord dying on the cross and saving me when I haven't

even done anything for Him.

(Jonathan)

And whatsoever ye do in words or deed,

do all in the name of the Lord Jesus,

giving thanks to God, and the Father by Him.

(Colossians 3:17)

I'm thankful that Jesus saved me, dying on cross for my sins

and then He rose again.

(Mary)

Rejoice in the Lord, ye righteous;
and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

(Psalm 97:12)

I'm thankful for two things.

The first thing is that Jesus died for my sins,

and then I'm thankful for my family.

(James)

O death, where is thy sting? O grave where is thy victory?
The sting of death is sin: and the strength of sin is the law.
But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our
Lord Jesus Christ.
(I Corinthians 15:55-57)

What are you thankful for?

Salvation, Full and Free

We thank you Lord for.......

LIFE.....
and most of all....
LIFE
EVERLASTING
in Jesus Christ our Lord.
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead,
thou shalt be saved.
(Romans 10:9)

Thank you Lord, for a heart that is surrendered to you.

Mary accepted God's free gift of Salvation last year and

we now celebrate in her Baptism.

The first part of Mary's life was a struggle to live, but the Lord saw fit that she stay here with us and we are so, so grateful. None of us know for sure when the Lord will call us home, but we can have assurance that when that time comes, we will be with Him in Heaven.

Call upon His name for He loves you more than anyone could

and He will NEVER, ever forsake you.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.
For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world;
but that the world through Him might be saved.
(John 3:16-17)
