Shop Til We Drop

Putting final touches on the shop.

(No pics of putting up drywall.)
(The idea was to get the drywall up and be done with it, no time for pics!!) The Painting Party
Reach Liv, reach, you can do it!!

Dad and Gabriel always enjoy working together.

It must be getting late :)

It is late. About 1:00 A.M. the workers decided to have an ice cream social.

Etiquette?? Not at 1:00 A.M., sorry.

Best Friends

Those Klondike bars hit the spot, now back to work.

Michael and Gabriel making tables and shelves.

Organization will come later.

"Everything must be square."

"You will definitely need this tool."
"And this tool."

"For cleaning things."

Part of the sanding and staining crew.
and another part.

Finishing one of the many tables.
Organization really will come later.

One of the shelves finished.
Too many hours in the shop can cause emotions to fly in ALL directions!
The shop is now finished with all the shelves and tables in place

and everything is organized as I promised.
Now it's time to move on to the next project(s) :)

The Shop (Part 2)

Now that everything is framed and the roof is on, it's time for the
insulation, wiring, plumbing and drywall. You don't say!!!
Gabriel's "blade art"
He was just informed he has to go in and do sssschoool!!!
(Momma didn't realize he was actually doing Math at the shop, so he got to stay.)
(That put a smile on poor Jon's face!)
The question is, "Can she concentrate without her tongue sticking out.
The answer is, NO! It's a family thing.
Ariana's special friend, Penny, stopped by to see the shop progress.
Liv, the tool pouch is on your waist, just in case you might wanta use it :)
Something wet, besides sweat, makes everything much better.I've gotta gun and I know how to use it, hardy, har har.
Yep, Jon, he's a strange one :)Too many decisions!!!!!
"Um, excuse me, Liv, can you go a little faster please!"
SOMEBODY?!?!
ANYBODY?!?!Liv needs a little change of scenery and decides to leave drywall and mow.
Can't figure that girl out for the life of me :)
Stay tuned for the 3rd and last part of the shop post, coming some time in 2009. (I hope)!!
Posted by: A momma that is so grateful for all the diligent workers. Thank you all, you're such a blessing.

The Shop (Part 1)

In between all the other work going on around this place, there is a shop being built.

Is there a limit to how many projects can be going on at one time??

Just wondered.....
Leveling, getting ready for the concrete...

Framing it in....
It's ready for the big truck...
Now the real work starts....
Bend and stretch....
Lots of hands make lite work.
(I love that saying, it's so true.)
Half done and half to go = 1 whole shop floor.
Aren't I so smart!!
(Now you know who is doing this post, otherwise, aren't would've been AINT) Still makin it smooth....
Looking good.....
Smooth as glass!!
Dedicating this building to the Lord.
The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is in the Lord.
Proverbs 21:31The Name of the Lord is a strong tower:
the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. Prov.18:10Precious Blessings

?
Jon can't bring the water like a normal person, he just can't!!

Now for the changing of the elements.
From concrete to wood.
Jord and Michael getting the beams ready.
Jon never misses the camera. It reminds me of someone.
What does that look on your face mean, Gabriel?
Break time and time for a game of foursquare.
The only piece of concrete on the property big enough.
Fun, fun.
Changing of the elements, again.
From wood to metal.Father and son.
After another hard days work.
Stay tuned for part 2, coming soon.
