Men in Brown

Just 'Cause
They say, three heads are better than one.
Yard Ornaments
(Goes well with the broken down tractor, piles of hay string, old tires, etc.)
"Hey, thanks for the compliment."

This is a great, inexpensive way, to make your teeth look white.

Just let 'em harden and they become these wonderful statues.Or wash with water and they become "sons" :)Getting clean is aways torture!!
Anybody knows that, right???
WRONG
We don't spend much for entertainment around our place.
We save the money for laundry detergent :)

*Happy Birthday* Jonathan and Mary

10 Years ago we were blessed with 2 precious blessings within a year.

Not twins, but 363 days apart.

Jonathan gets the prize for being our biggest baby so far,

at 10 lb, 4 oz., beating Christiana by 4 oz..

He's proud of that award :)
(Getting a "normal" picture of Jonathan is a difficult task!!)
(See what I mean?)

Some of Jonathans favorite things are:

Building forts, treehouses, anything with wood.
Hiking through the swamp.
Working (OUTSIDE)
The days when he's off from school!!
Playing football

That's not exactly what we meant when we said "smile".How bout this smile?

It was alot of work, but we finally got a real smile.

(He was actually laughing, but it works.)

Jonathan, we love your sense of humor and the way

you're always there to help, even without being asked.

You're a blessing to your family and we love you, Jonathan!!!

---------------------------------------------

Mary gets the prize for being the smallest baby so far,

at 3 lbs, 4 oz. (3 months early).

She was like a little doll. (Still is, but bigger.)

Some of Mary's favorites:

Anything Outside!!

Riding horses (fast)

Fishing

Riding Bikes (fast)

Rollerblading (fast)

Running (fast)

Anything adventurous (What a shock!!)

Learning Piano from Granny.

Babies and baby animals.

Seeing the baby calves with daddy.

Loves spending time with Gabriel.

Mary loves any time she spends with Granny.

Mary, we love your adventurous spirit and the

way you enjoy life and God's wonderful Creation so much!!

Also, your tender heart.

You're such a blessing.

We love you so much, Mary.

Happy 10th and 11th Birthday to the Biggest and the Littlest!!!

Herein is Love.....

What is "True Love"?

It is God's undeserving love for the sinner.

But God commendeth his love toward us,
in that, while we were yet sinners,
Christ died for us.
(Romans 5:8)

The World's love is selfish and is based upon what we can get
from someone else.
(If someone does not please us or treat us the way we think we should be treated,
then we have no love for that person.)
As the world's love must be earned,
God chose to love us and it is not based on our meriting in any way.

He loved us enough to die for us,
EVEN while we were yet sinning against Him.
---------------------------------------

Biblical love = Charity

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels,
and have not Charity,
I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

And though I have the gift of prophecy,
and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge;
and though I have faith, so that I could remove mountains,
and have not Charity, I am NOTHING.

And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor,
and though I give my body to be burned,
and have not Charity, it profiteth me NOTHING.
Charity suffereth long, and is kind;
Charity envieth not; Charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
Doth not behave itself unseemly,
seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;

Rejoiceth not in iniquity,
but rejoiceth in truth;

Beareth all things, believeth all things,
hopeth all things, endureth all things.

Charity NEVER faileth:
but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail;
whether there be tongues, they shall cease;
whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
.
.
.
.
And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three;
but the greatest of these is Charity.
(I Corinthians 13)

Relationships based upon emotions fail,
but those based on true Biblical love will NEVER fail.

Herein is love, not that we loved God,
but that He loved us,
and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
