Service With A Smile

It was an honor to serve our Mother and Grandmother on the family workday.
But if any widow have children or nephews, let them learn first to show piety at home,
and to requite their parents: for that is good and acceptable before God.
I Tim. 5:4
I'm glad this was only the shed and not the house."Yep, this is gonna be a long WORKday."
Lots of diligent workers for lots of hours.Much needed tools.Making progress.
There's now plenty of firewood for our loooong winter, ha ha.
Cut and drag,
Cut and drag,
Don't stop now,
No time to lag.

Dad has the great idea of pushing all the brush instead of dragging.
(This turned hours into a few minutes.)
Service with a (serious) smile:)

What, no java in hand?!?
"Nope, I exchanged it for a wagon, but have no fear, it's only temporary."
:)
We can always count on the "Secret Garden Gal" to make everything
look spiffy.Still Cutting.
Our special visitor puts on a show for lunch.
Jon cleaning out all the "survivors" in the shed,
while his little friend flies by to see the progress.
Still cutting, but on a much smaller scale.
The littles worked diligently.
Some of these weeds they are pulling are briars.
One of the "Merry Maids".
The wagon needs a refill.
(Before they started, you couldn't even get through here.)
She's really not hiding, but pulling weeds, really.
I don't think this needs a caption, but if need be....here goes.
(Liv Mowing)
We love you Mom and Granny so much.
These verses speak to us about you:
Prov. 31:10-31 (You are a virtuous woman.)
Ephesians 5:2 (A sweetsmelling savor.)
Psalm 1:1-2 (You meditate day and night on God's Word.)
What a Godly example you are to your family.
Thank you.

How precious to see the whole extended family working together like that. Praise the Lord! I am sure Granny was tremendously blessed - not just by the work accomplished, but by the spirit behind the work!

Love,
