And They're Off......

And so the anniversariers leave their
humble abode for a much needed week of rest and relaxation,
in the mountains of North Carolina.
We send them off with lots of hugs and kisses,
awaiting the day they shall return.

Farewell, Father

Farewell, Mother
....
......

And the littles wonder to themselves...

What shall we do without them?

And off they ride on their white
steed into the night...
;)
Now, the next few minutes of pictures are
what we did while the parents were vacationing..

We tilled up our back yard, and turned it into
rows and rows of seed beds. Mostly broccoli, some
cabbage, onions and raddishes.

Liv and her toy!

This is a sad sight indeed!!!
To you it may seem like just another picture of an old boat,
but to some of us its more that!! Ole Gray is leaving us :(
Our fathful little boat is being halled away to the road to be sold.
Lots of good memories in that old boat....

But no time for weeping,
the garden must be planted.

Make it straight!!

Water is a very important part of gardening!!

After Church Sunday, the Huron family
invited us over for lunch!
Thank you Huron family, we had a wonderful time!

Gabriel telling the boys the story about the Shipwreck.

After lunch we all played Taboo!
It was alot of fun.

Mary was our "Timer Person".

"Um.. Ok, it's um, Something with a..."

Our team won!!

After Taboo, all the girls adjourned into the kitchen and made
Pretzels!!

The skilled, teaching the, not so skilled.

Titus can't wait for them to be done!!

At last :)

Mr. Huron making sure we don't get lost on
our way home!
Thanks again for the great day!

Tuesday, we all loaded up with Granny and headed
off to go spread some cheer with a local Nursing Home.

Everyone was so lively!!

The Birthday girl in pink! Today was her
95th Birthday!

They asked us to stay and celebrate her
Birthday, so we did!! We had ice cream!!

While we were plowing up our back yard,
for some strange reason, our internet stopped working
and our phone went dead.
We couldn't figure out why on earth it did that!!!
(We cut the line with the plow.)
So the boys moved it over and buried it deeper!!

While Gabe tilled it up a little more...

we finished the short rows.

Some of y'all may remember that awhile back
Christiana got her finger stuck in the pea sheller,

This is what it looks like now ;)

Well, to make a long post a little shorter...
We got the garden planted!

And to make this blog post even shorter, (with just one picure),
we had game night at Aunt Mary's....

We went a few other places, but this will have to do for this post.

Mamma and Daddy got home safely after 9 days of beautiful North Carolina:)
The house was still here when they got back!
They had a wonderful time. Mamma took her camera, so she
might put a few pics up here for yall some time.

Well folks thats all for now.

Good night and God bless
