Bible Camp - New York (Part 2)

The Saturday before Bible Camp started, we spent time with the Brocketts and had a wonderful time, indeed!! Here are some of the happenings while we were there.
Black Cherries, DELICIOUS!!
(And our favorite of all cherries)
The question is, how many cherries can you eat while you pick.
The answer is, enough to make you sick! James has that passed down "Pollock Trait".
(He cannot concentrate without his tongue sticking out. It just can't be done.)

Sweet Lil' Cherry Pickers
(Christiana and Thabeh)
Cherry Picking Buddies
(Gabe and Amadu)The "Pocketts"

Liv has found a multitude in that tree, and she's not coming down.
Dads are counting the cost!!
Hmmm, I think we should go, what do you think?

Rasberries, almost ready!!
(Of course, we missed it :(
You mean we don't have to eat cherries for dinner?
Thank you Brocketts, for the pizza!!!!!

Time to get to work......
Actually, if work was like this all the time, it would be sweet!! (Literally)
Sweet Fellowship
The boys having a great time together.
James has found a treasure with those leggo's and SO MANY leggo men :)

"Okay, I've had enough. It's time for some JAVA and desparate times call for desparate measures!!"
The lady with the java has settled down quite well, which is an all around good thing.
Liv is loving this cherry pitter.
She must have one and believe me, she'll go to 1000 garage sales until she finds one!! Or actually, she'll just end up making one and add that to the list of her "projects".
Liv's motto is: If somebody else can make it, I can too, for a lot cheaper!!
(Btw, anybody have an old washer tub, she wants to make a smoker?)
Almost done
Time for a cherry bath.

The beautiful finished product, yum.The "Merry Maid" never stops, NEVERTime for a relaxing ride on the horses.
(Amadu is riding on the back to protect Christiana.)
She's wore out from that exhausting, long ride,
of about 15 feet !

Ariana is in heaven. Time for all cowboys to load up on their trusted steer and ride off.
We'll be back now, ya hear. (For part 3)

Ahhhh, simply the best cherries I ever tasted!!!!! Many hands definitely make light work. How fun to work n fellowship together. The week went by way too fast, but we sure were fed good, spiritually and physically. It was wonderful getting to know all the new families. Now how about that camp meetin in the "south"? January? When it's nice and "frosty cold"?

Relishin the memories,
Mrs. Stokesies

Miss Tina, the only thing you're missing is a funnel for the coffee!

The cherries look tremendous! But, if you come up this a way in a few months, we can offer you all the free apples you can cart home!

Miss y'all lots,
Katie

Hey Katie, funnels sound like a super duper idea. I actually just bought 3 for 50 cent at a yard sale. I just knew I needed those for something :)

When exactly will the apples be ready? We might just take you up on that!!

Miss you too,
Tina
