Blessings of the Lord, Never Ceasing

We are overwhelmed once again by the blessings of the Lord.
Another piece of land to plant, which means one of the other garden spots will be used for haying this year. The fun is about to begin....

as soon as Liv fixes what is broken, which is the way we start all projects. Dad is disking while Liv is making rows for the seeds. The field is ready for seed.

In this garden will go watermelon, black eyed peas, and okra.

"Nothin but comfort"

Christiana ready to refill the hopper with seed.

Refreshment and Revival

(The thermometer read 112 deg.)
Right after the seeds were in the ground, the Lord blessed us with water.
Thank you, Lord, for the much needed rain.
After planting we went to check on the cows.
Can you see something wrong with this picture?

Yes, once again, the cows are on the WRONG side of the fence!!

"I cannot BELIEVE we got caught again.
Don't they know the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence?"

Mossy Oak

Time to call it a day.

Dinner is ready and waiting.....
Thanks to Jordan, our cook.
Mmm, mmm, very good :)

Gail, We ask ourselves that question every spring, summer and fall. You know we're trying to escape this madness, but it's not happening fast enough!!

We are planning on NY in July, but you know how it goes when you farm. Plans change daily. I talked to Amy yesterday and she said she just wanted to go sit out in the sun and I was wondering to myself, WHY!!! (It was only 62 up there in that other country y'all live in.)

Un-Decaf Momma, Hallelujah, I love you too. Thank you, that's so nice to hear and right about now was perfect!!

Signing out,
Java Momma

Wow! Bare feet in freshly plowed dirt, homemade chocolate cake made by the person I want making my chocolate cake next time, a fresh cup of coffee in a cozy chair, a friend on a tractor in the middle of the week... Is all this real, or is it some sort of Floridian Hollywood show?

It all looks great. Nice to see your family again, even if only in pics.

Awww, beautiful pictures of beautiful Florida. It is so good that y'all are able to show the blogging world that Florida is more than beaches and Disney World...much more and much better!

Mark,

It IS like a Hollywood show. I was told by many that when my children became teenagers it would be the hardest time in my life. Well, they were wrong, because it's actually the BEST time and I'm enjoying every minute of it, except when my cows get in the neighbors hayfield!!

Your hot Florida friend,
Ben
