North Carolina (again)

Just to Warn you, this post has very few "normal" pictures....
So I hope you enjoy our crazy family;) I know I do!!
-Thus the trip begins-
We're going on a TRIP!!! "WooHoo"...
Yes, you're probably thinking we might as well
live in North Carolina as much as we go there...
What can I say, Everyone needs a little mountain air, every once in awhile;)
(Some, more than others.)

Our driver ready to put the pedal to the medal:)
We were so glad to have Granny join us on this trip:)
She was such a great traveling companion!
We have made it to the McIntosh Estate;)
And the leaves had just began to turn color!!! So beautiful:)
Never forget to do your stretches!!!
O-o

Our awesome abode!! Feather mattresses are the bomb!
A little practice.........
and a little more........
and on and on it goes.........
Fun times with great friends.

The momma's to .....
all of these!!
All the girls.

Lovin' this weather!!!

If I put captions on all these pics, I'll never get done with this post I've been working on for weeks, soooo I'm just gonna post without captions (except a few) and you'll just have to use your imagination for the rest ;)

This is what I feel like when I go on these roads!!
Thank you, Dramamine!!

I'm glad I'm normal ;)

First one back!!! Oh yeah
At the Towncenter in Burnsville, NC. Opening for Steve Gulley and Dale Ann Bradley.
Excited and Nervous!!
One final practice.

It was an honor to open for such talented, friendly and down to earth folks!
One of Liv's favorite mandolin players from Balsam Range (Darren Nicholson),
who sat right in front of me the whole time. Talk about nervous!!
Sweet friends.

Time for some "Shake and Howdy".

Breakfast in the shack, our home away from home.
Love cooking on the wood burning stove!!

Good ole' southern comfort food.

Thanks for stopping by.
