More of November

More of
November at a glance.....
The blessing of fresh Arkansas apples.
Thank you Discher family. So many things to do with apples.
Drying some for muffins so we can have them year round!!
Apple Pie Filling.
We were able to make lots of pectin from the apple
cores and peelings.

What a blessing not to have to buy pectin!!

The Garden

What's in the garden now..... radishes.

Now, what to do with all the radishes.

Horseradish sauce and horseradish sauce and......

Now for some fun

GUESS WHO'S 50

Nope, it's not Matt,

but he does have 50 balloons belonging to...... UNCLE JIMBO.

My!, How his hair has grown in his old age.
This is the Real Jimbo.

Wonder if he can blown out all these candles at once.

He huffed and he puffed and he

(blew the candle out, yep, he did it.)

The two Toms enjoying the party.
Gabriel loving his granny

and I think the feeling is mutual :)

Playing "Hot Grenade".
Well, I sure hope you've enjoyed your visit.

Now, I'll just play a few tunes for your enjoyment.

Looks like you had a enjoyable Thanksgiving. I'm curious about making apple pectin. How do you do it? How do you store it? Also, can you store horseradish? Maybe you can it?

I really enjoy your blog. Your family looks like they have such nice times with each other.
