When our Cause, It is Just

There's only one interpretation, one truth (God's Word). When we deviate from Truth and not stand firm on it, we are tossed around by every wind of doctrine.

Thomas Jefferson 3rd U.S. President, Drafter and Signer of the Declaration of Independence

"God who gave us life gave us liberty. And can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are of the Gift of God? That they are not to be violated but with His wrath? Indeed, I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just; that His justice cannot sleep forever; That a revolution of the wheel of fortune, a change of situation, is among possible events; that it may become probable by Supernatural influence! The Almighty has no attribute which can take side with us in that event."

How can a nation stand free when it has rejected the God
that makes men free?
Free men must always rise to tear down the walls of tyranny
or become slaves to it.
When good men do nothing,
evil will triumph!

When we say "The Pledge of Allegiance"
to the United States of America,
we are not denying the Lord Jesus Christ,
but recognizing that He has given us this great land
to proclaim Truth and protect
as long as He's given us breath.

The Star-Spangled Banner

Oh, thus be it ever when free men shall stand,
between their loved homes and the war's desolation;
Blest with victory and peace,
may the heaven rescued land
Praise Power that hath made
and preserved us a nation!
Then conquer we must,
when our cause it is just;
And this be our motto:

"In God is our trust!"
And the Star Spangled Banner in truimph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.

In this verse of the "Star-Spangled Banner",
Sir Frances Scott Key reminds us of the price that was paid
from the patriots before us.

"The general principles on which the fathers achieved independence were the general principles of Christianity. I will avow that I then believed, and now believe, that those general principles of Christianity are as eternal and immutable as the existence and attributes of God."

--Adams wrote this on June 28, 1813, in a letter to Thomas Jefferson.

Happy 21st to the "Eldest of Eight"

HAPPY

TWENTY - ONE

BEN (or) GABRIEL (or both)

We love this pic because it shows a picture of how you love life,
and even through very difficult trials, you stay joyful.

Thank you for making life fun :)The ocean is a huge favorite place to be.
A wise son maketh a glad father:........
Prov.15:20
(And your father is "glad".)
"How many greens is one person expected to eat?!"

(This was after weeks and weeks of picking and eating greens!)

(We figure for every piece of junk food, you need at least a plate of greens to compensate;)

Farming is his love.
He that gathereth in summer is a wise son:
but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame.
Prov.10:5

Never pass up a good piece of exercise equipment without trying it out :)

Energy is just one of those things Gabriel has to deal with in life.

MUST BE NICE!!!

Oh Yeah!!

(Football is a big favorite!)Did he make it??

(Let's just say he doesn't underestimate the speed of the "older" men, anymore.)We thank our precious Lord for you, Gabriel.
We love the way you put the Lord and His principles first,
your sense of humor and how you can laugh so easily,
the way you love children,
how you love to work, but at the same time love to have fun.
We love you !!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY

My son, if thou wilt receive my words,
and hide my commandments with thee;
So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom,
and apply thine heart to understanding;
Yea, if thou criest after knowledge,
and liftest up thy voice for understanding;
If thou seekest her as silver,
and searchest for her as for hid treasures;
Then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord,
and find the knowledge of God.
Prov. 2:1-5
