Welcome to the July 4th celebration, or atleast that's what Uncle Tom thought....

Here he comes, unsuspecting ....that it's actually a 50th surprise party for him.
He was totally surprised!!

Waiting for the fireworks.
(The fireworks show was incredible.)
Mrs. Stokes and Mrs. P had fun making these (far from professional) cupcakes,
but it sure was sweet fun ;) (literally)

We enjoyed your company.

Freedom Isn't Free

I watched the flag pass by one day.
It fluttered in the breeze.

A young Marine saluted it,
and then he stood at ease.
I looked at him in uniform
So young, so tall, so proud,
He'd stand out in any crowd.
I thought how many men like him
Had fallen through the years.

How many died on foreign soil?
How many mothers' tears?
How many pilots' planes shot down?
How many died at sea?
How many foxholes were soldiers' graves?

No, freedom isn't free.

I heard the sound of TAPS one night,
When everything was stillI listened to the bugler play,
And felt a sudden chill.
I wondered just how many times
That TAPS had meant "Amen,

"When a flag had draped a coffin
Of a brother or a friend.I thought of all the children,
Of the mothers and the wives,
Of fathers, sons and husbands
With interrupted lives.
I thought about a graveyard,
At the bottom of the sea
Of unmarked graves in Arlington.

No, freedom isn't free.

Mothers Day

Happy (belated) Mother's Day
Who can find a virtuous woman?
for her price is far above rubies.

Her children arise up, and call
her blessed; her husband also, and he
praiseth her.

Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain:
but a woman that feareth the Lord,
She shall be praised.

We love you mamma!
And you are a proverbs 31 woman.

For Mother's Day we took a few days off and
went to our Grandmother's and Uncle's rental house in
Kissimmee, (being that it wasn't rented out),
just to have a wonderful and relaxing few days.
And seeing that mother's day was that Sunday, we kids planned
something special to do for Mamma.

Being that mamma is part Italian, and she loves Italian food,we decided to have

"Momma Mia's Italian Cafe''

come and cater for this special occasion.

Bonjora and welcome to "Mamma Mia's Italiano Cafe'".
Can I take you to your seat?

Tonight's special is:

Insasalata Ceaser
(Caeser salad)
Pollastro Al
(fettucini Alfredo)
and
Grissini
(Bread sticks)
and for
Disertare
Torta al cioccolato
(Moist layered Chocolate Cake)
Buon appetito!

Service with a SMILE!

She openeth her mouth with
wisdom; and in her tongue is the law
of kindness.

Strength and honour are her clothing;
and she shall rejoice in time to come.

"Can I get you some freshly grated parmigiano
for your freshly made salad?"

Next on the menu is one of mamma's
most favorite foods,

Chicken Fetticini Alfredo!

Yum Yum!
Liv outdid herself on this one!
It was fantastico, mwa

Our chef

Mamma was quite excited.
You know how those Italians get :)

And right before dessert,
there was some Live Italian music!

Art~

And last on the menu:

Mamma's favorite dessert!
Chocolate!! (With Italian Coffee, of course)

Yet, another masterpeice from Liv!

Are you hungry yet?

Precious Children (the littles)
and one
precious mother!

Some fun activities after dinner!

The Master Pool Shooter.

Poor Jonny, but I'm not sure why:B

Special time with big brother.

Y'all come back now,
ya hear?
